Cinco de Mayo

I hope you all are having a better day than I am! I got out of work this afternoon, only to find my car had been towed! Ugh! Major bummer, but what can you do?

Despite my rotten morning, I am very much looking forward to Cinco de Mayo tomorrow! Primarily a way for Mexican Americans to show their pride in their culture and heritage (and an excuse for the rest of the nation to drink tequila in excess),  May 5th celebrates the victory of the Mexican army over the French, at Puebla in 1862. It is not Mexican Independence Day. Being a Mexican American myself (as well as a tequila fan), I look forward to celebrating each year.

To help celebrate, I have three yummy tequila cocktail recipes for you! These are each recipes that I have shared before, but they are definitely worth revisiting, and a great way to join the fiesta!

The Mexican Mule Two Ways

A tasty twist on the classic Moscow Mule, this tequila fueled treat is a party hit!
