So much is going on this week! I'm gearing up and getting things ready for the Gypsies Crafts & Treats trunk show at Orange on Thursday. I am so excited! If you live in the area, I hope you'll stop in and see me! I've got lots of fun Halloween goodies out right now, and I'm starting to work on some for the holidays. I will have some examples of new products on display Thursday, so make sure to swing by!
Before this crazy week rolled around, we spent the weekend relaxing and having fun. A couple of friends came to visit on Saturday, and the four of us went to Oystoberfest for some food, fun, and live music. Held at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Historic Ginter Park, this shuck fest benefits the church's outreach programs. Rappahannock Oyster Co. served up raw, steamed, and fried oysters until there was nothing but heaping piles of empty shells left. East of Afton, Mills Family Band, Starlighter, The Southern Belles, and the Jimmy Catlett Group provided the tunes while festival goers slurped down oysters and beers. The weather was gorgeous, and everyone was having a great time.
