I hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying some gorgeous Fall weather. It is going to be a lovely day here in Richmond, so we are heading out to a pumpkin patch, and then to the first annual Kickin' Chicken Wing Festival! Maybe I'll see you there.
First, I've got more Halloween goodness coming at you today! A super easy and cute idea that would be perfect for a Halloween mantle or tablescape! I've created this apothecary candle label that I am sharing so that you can make your own Love Spell candle! You can whip a few of these up in no time at all!
What you need:
Tall jar candle (I got mine at the dollar store)
Sponge brush or paint brush
How to make it:
This is just like the Arsenic Bottles I made a few weeks ago. Download, print, and cut out the label. Use the sponge brush to apply a thin even coat of Mod Podge to the back of the label, then gently apply it to the candle jar, smoothing out any bumps or bubbles. Allow to dry for two hours. Use the rubberbands around the label to help the edges adhere nicely. After two hours, apply a thin layer over the top of the label to seal it. Make sure to cover the edges. You may want to use a paper towel or dry rag to wipe away any stray glue. After it dries, light the candle and cast a spell over your one desire! Or just place it on your mantle for some fine holiday fun.
