My husband loves to buy Bota Box wine. I don't have a problem with that, because it's tasty and a good bang-for-your-buck wine. My only complaint is the way it ruins the aesthetic of my bar. I have all of my beautiful vintage decanters and pretty bar ware, and then there is that big cardboard eye sore. A while back, we saw that they actually make neat wooden covers that the box slides into. I happened to have a cheap little wooden crate from the craft store that it fit into, and stuck it in there so that company didn't have to see it. Keith had the idea to actually cut a hole out, so that we could leave it in there. Perfect! Here's how we did it...
We put the box in to mark off where the hole should be.
We finally got to use the Jigsaw that I bought Keith for Christmas.
We used a glass to trace a hole, and cut away.
We put it back in the bar, and viola!
I love it! What do you think?
